Living in the past is for fools....can we just try to make it thru the day?

The past is the past, let it go and come up with something new. I thought all you liberals were progressive, sure doesnt look that way. All you talk about is the past.

Why do those polls fail to separate the disapproval category by even the simplest of reasons -- like doing too much or not doing enough?

All this proves is that half of Americans rely on sound bites from Fox and right-wing radio. No one here has names any actual policy that Obama did that actually hurt things. The health care reform hasn't gone into effect so that isn't affecting things. Taxes haven't changed, at least not yet, so that isn't affecting things. The reality is that the economy is actually pretty good. The stock market is at an all-time high, mortgage rates are near all-time lows, inflation is low, and the auto industry is up. Unemployment remains higher but 90% still have jobs. What do you expect the President -- ANY President -- to do? Obama took over an economy that was reeling and the worst you can say is that it's not completely fixed. Well whoop-de-doo. Things are still a lot better than they were at the end of 2008. You are all just a bunch of whiners. It's easy to whine about Obama when you don't have to have actual facts to back them up.

You are a drone. Our economy started dropping because Obama was running for office and business in the US and abroad had no faith in his proposed policies or his past record. When he took office the stock market typically jumps, this one wend down further. Name one thing he has done tht has worked.

Oh, I get it. The recession that started while BUSH WAS STILL IN OFFICE was the fault of Obama running for office. Are you a complete raving lunatic?

there would ba a hell of a lot more if they asked the right people. The media does anything it can to boost Obama and tear down others in opposition. Palin 22%, they wish! Obama goes to a "black college", to give a speach. How in today's society do we have black colleges, and our president goes to one for support. Are there any "White, or Oriental" colleges or schools in the US? If there were any they would be sued, burned down, and denfinately be called racist! I guess if you want support, you don't go to where nobody wants to listen to you. I would say that is at least 60% of the country. The other 40% only support them because theywant more free stuff!

Not his job to put america to work, this is suppose to be the private sectors respondsibility. they haven't lived up to there part. received huge taxcuts for ten years and when the political sytem changed they said screw you where keeping your money until you give us more for less. the republicons doubled the deficit on there watch, now there's nothing left to pull the economy out of the hole, wall st is back up to the same level it was when the repubs and bush took controll in 01 yet unemployment is doubled. whats up with that. the republicans have n't presented any proposal other than to leave the taxcuts in place this won't help the deficit or create anymore jobs. and what do you think is magicaly going to change if the repubs take the house and or senate? NOthing. last count of bills passed through the house and are sitttting in the senate because of republican partisinism is 420. what americans should be on to is the fact that things will only get worse if the republicant's take back control.

Today's NY Times: "As Obama administration officials put into place the first major wave of changes under the health care legislation, they have tried to defuse stiffening resistance ? from companies like McDonald?s and some insurers ? by granting dozens of waivers to maintain even minimal coverage far below the new law?s standards..." so it has already started. The use of radical legislation by this executive to ARBITRARILY control the health industry. So now Obama, can grant exemptions at his will to whoever he likes. He has created a unprecedented massive patronage system. At the same time he wants to control who can and cannot produce energy by instituting Cap and Trade. Its obvious that this President poses a real threat to not only the principles of the Constitution but to every American's individual liberty. It's also obvious that CBS, through ommission, is complicit in this, and is not to be trusted.

How can you construe these concessions as unreasonable as the incentives (tax breaks) to support these changes were delayed in the law AS IMPLEMENTED largely due to REPUBLICAN OBJECTIONS?

Another example of why Obama is the worst President ever... ... .... I don't believe anything he say now... He has proven to be a fantastic lair...
